He worked alongside his father after he graduated from school with a third-class Baccalaureate. He began to write songs at the age of twenty-one and formed Dosis Letal, his first band.
Inaki Anton and Fito Cabrales, both from Platero y Tu, also joined him to create the supergroup Extrechinato y Tu. In 2001, the album Poesia Basica, which was recorded over five years and features music inspired by Manolo Chineseto’s lyrics, was finally released.
He wrote his first novel, El viaje íntimo de la locura, which was released on 28 September 2009. The novel sold 10000 copies in just over a week.
He rose to prominence in Spain in 1996 after the release of Agila. In the same year, he was informed of the death his father. Inaki “Uoho”, guitarist and producer, joined the band. He was at the time a member of rock and roll band Platero y Tu. This was a pivotal moment in the band’s history. They toured with Platero y Tu in that year.

Roberto Iniesta Ojea, also known by Robe (Spanish pronunciation: [ro’berto i’njesta.a]; born May 16, 1962), is a Spanish singer, songwriter and guitarist. Extremoduro’s frontman is he.
He formed Extremoduro in 1987. This band brought him much fame. The band didn’t have the money to record a studio album, so they sold tickets in exchange for it. They had sold 250 tickets and were able to afford recording. They recorded their first demo tape in January 1989. They began to get attention both within and outside of their Plasencia region. The demo tape was so popular that Plastic, a Catalan television station, invited them to perform live.
In 2006 he created the record label Muxik along with Iñaki Antón.
