He is best known for his work at Comics Scene, Starlog and Weekly World News and for the executive roles he held at Marvel Comics as well as DC Comics. He was also elected to office in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Greenberger moved to Gist Communications in 2000 from DC. Greenberger’s break from the comics business lasted until 2001 when he joined Marvel Comics in the role of Director-Publishing Operations. Greenberger was hired by Joe Quesada to assist him, but he was fired during a turbulent reorganization led by Bill Jemas. After a reorganization at DC Comics and a publication error that resulted in copies of the Golden Age Hawkman Archives being printed in incorrect order, Greenberger was soon back in DC Comics’ Senior Editor for Collected Editions. He was fired in 2006. Christopher Priest and Peter David, comic book writers, criticized his firing. Greenberger worked as a freelance writer/editor for companies such as Syfy and Platinum Studios as well as ComicMix.com and Marvel. He was also the Managing Editor of Weekly World News from June 2006 to August 2007.

Greenberger began his involvement in local politics in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1999. He was initially a member of Fairfield’s Parking Authority between 1999 and June 2006. After that, he resigned to become a member of the Cable Advisory Council for Area 2 of Connecticut. He was elected Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting Representative in November 2005. In November 2007, he was reelected and was appointed its Moderator. He was elected to Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting in November 2005. After his defeat in the 2009 election, he was made its Moderator. He was also Vice-Chair for Fairfield’s Democratic Town Committee. He retired in 2013, after relocating from Fairfield, Connecticut to Maryland.

Ordover, the novel editor, created the seven- part crossover series Gateways in 2001. Greenberger also wrote the final novella and the third novel in the series. From 2000 to 2000, he was Manager- Editorial Operations at DC. He worked on titles such as The Warlord and Lois Lane, Action Comics Weekly. Secret Origins, Secret Origins, The Hacker Files, and many others.
