Robert Styles, born 21 April 1964, is an English referee for football from Waterlooville in Hampshire. He officiated for FIFA and the FA Premier League. In 2009, he retired.

Styles refereed the Premier League match between Chelsea and Liverpool in August 2007. He wrongly awarded Chelsea a penalty and then created confusion by giving two yellow cards for one incident. Styles was “dropped” from the match after he awarded the penalty and caused confusion by showing two yellow cards for the same incident.

Styles started refereeing in 1987. He first officiated in the Wessex League, then the Isthmian League. In 1996, Styles was appointed to the National List. Styles was busy in 2000. Styles was responsible for a Football League First Division playoff semi-final and a Second Division playoff semi-final.
