Rina Ikoma is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on December 29, 1995 in Yurihonjo, Akita Prefecture, Japan. Rina Ikoma was conceived in Yurihonjo (Akita Prefecture) on December 29, 1995. Ikoma had been dancing since childhood. Her father encouraged her to get involved in the showbiz and Ikoma was invited to audition for Nogizaka46. She applied to the Nogizaka46 auditions in 2011 with 38,934 girls. She was one of 56 girls to advance to the final round. In August, she was selected to be one of 36 members of the first generation.

She was named as a model by Anna Sui Asia in Asian Regions on 21 February 2016. Kimi no Ashiato was her first solo photobook. It was published on February 24, 2016. The book sold 16,000 copies within its first week and was ranked #1 on the Oricon weekly sales chart for photo books. Rina Ikoma took part in the ceremonial pitch of the first pitch prior to a baseball match between the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks (Saitama Seibu Lions) on 29 March 2016. SoftBank also featured her voice as “Giga-chan” in their advertising. She reprised her role as the voice of “Giga-chan” in SoftBank’s advertising the following year. In Japan, the film was released on July 16, 2016. Ikoma was also featured in a musical adaptation Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Koenmae Hashutsujo’s September 2016 film.

On 31 January 2018, Ikoma announced her graduation from Nogizaka46 on the group’s official blog. On 22 April, her graduation concert was held at the Nippon Budokan. Nogizaka46’s 20th single, “Synchronicity” was released on 25 April. It was the group’s last single to feature Ikoma, and B-side “Against” was their last song where she took the center position in that group. Ikoma came up with the idea for “Against”‘s music video. On 6 May, she officially graduated from the group after an event in Makuhari Messe.

It was announced that Ikoma had been chosen to star as Ikoma in a live action film based on the Corpse Party video game series. A month later, Ikoma announced her intention to leave AKB48. Ikoma was elected the center position on Nogizaka46’s 12th single, “Taiyo Nokku”, which was released 22 July 2015. She had previously held the position on their fifth single, “Kimi no Na wa Kibo”.
