Born in Thailand to Gurvinder Singh Doowa & Dalvinder Kaur Doowa she is the oldest of two siblings. She has a brother and sister. Rimi lives in Mumbai, with her family in Thailand. Ruamrudee International School, Bangkok (RIS), was where she completed her education in 2008. She was also a member of the Jeremiah Singers chorus. She studied economics and environmental studies at Whitman College, Washington State. There she was a member of the A-Capella group “Schwa”. Adriel Borshansky and Robby Seager founded the band “Dabbles in Bloom”, which she accompanied Jonas Myers. The band’s first album, “Found It”, came out in July 2010. They then went on a tour of the Pacific North West.
