Richard, who plays the role of Brad Majors, joined The Rocky Horror Show’s UK Tour on 27 January 2007. He was there for six months, until the tour closed. His last show was in Woking on 14 July as Brad. He also studied under Frank N. Furter but did not continue in that role.

He rejoined the cast of The Rocky Horror Show in 2016, first playing the role of Eddie / Dr Scott replacing Paul Cattermole until switching to play Brad Majors once more later in the tour until the close of the tour on 31 December 2016 in Oxford.

Richard was part of the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tour for nearly all of 2006. He was offered the role of Judah two weeks after he had finished in panto. He was asked by the director to audition for the role of alternate Joseph after six months. After only one performance, he was offered the role and was asked to take over the lead role for three weeks while Ian “H” Watkins was away. He jumped at the opportunity and received great reviews at all three stops where he was the lead: Skegness Dundee and Wimbledon. He played the role of Joseph for several months, three times per week, while Judah was on the other nine shows. On 22 November 2006, he took over the principal Joseph’s role. His last show as Joseph was on 16/12 2006.

Richard was born in King’s Lynn in Norfolk. He began his interest in drama at an early age by participating in amateur dramas at his local theatre. He left his home at 16 to study Drama at College of West Anglia. He graduated from college five years later with a GCSE, an A Level, and a HND in Singing, Dance, and Drama. After graduating with distinction from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2011, he moved to London. He played the Mikado in Upstairs Theatre’s Christmas 2004 production, The Hot Mikado, on the London Fringe. It received rave reviews and was named Time Out Critics’ Choice.

Richard was a model during 2005. He returned to theatre in September after a tour in the UK of Give My Regards To Broadway. He finished the tour in November and immediately went to rehearsals for Sleeping Beauty, at the Lichfield Garrick – a pantomime with original songs featuring a West End musical ensemble – where he was Prince Claude. He sang at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on BBC Radio West Midlands that Christmas.

In 2015 he joined the cast of The Rocky Horror Show Live which was celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film version’s release. He played the dual roles of Eddie and Eddie’s uncle, Dr. Everett Von Scott. The show ran for two weeks from 11 to 26 September.
