Rich Rundles is one of the most popular and richest Baseball Player who was born on June 3, 1981 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States. Richard Lambert Rundles, born June 3, 1981 and died December 16, 2019, was a Major League Baseball relief pitcher. He played for the Cleveland Indians between 2008 and 2009. Rundles was a minor league baseball player with six different teams from 1999 to 2007. Rundles was a pitching coach with the Lancaster Barnstormers of Major League Baseball and the University of West Alabama baseball teams.

Rundles was then re-acquired by the Triple-A Columbus Clippers, March 15, 2009.

On June 7, 2012, the Baltimore Orioles purchased Rundles contract from the Lancaster Barnstormers. The Orioles released him in April 2013.

Rundles died on December 16, 2019, from natural causes at the age of 38.

Rundles, the Buffalo Bisons’ lone representative, was named to Triple-A All- Star Game 2008 on July 2, 2008. Rundles was called up to major leagues on September 1, 2008. He made his debut on September 3 by walking the first batter he faced.

Rundles’ 3.39 ERA was achieved through 836 innings of minor-league baseball. Rundles was a third-round selection in high school in 1999. He showed excellent control. He was a Class A starter in the following year, walking 13 and pitching 114 innings. His development was stalled by various injuries until he signed with the Indians in January 2007 as a minor-league-free agent. To avoid his durability issues, Rundles was moved to the bullpen by the Tribe.

Rundles was sent to Double-A Akron Aeros for a 2007. He went 3-0 with a 1.83 ERA, two saves and played in 23 games. 21 of those were in the bullpen. He was 2-4 in his 17 relief appearances at Buffalo, which earned him his first call up to Triple-A. Rundles continued his transition to relief by going to the 2007 Arizona Fall League. He allowed just one run over eight innings of limited work (1.04 ERA).

Rundles was released by the St. Louis Cardinals organization on May 31, 2011.
