In May 2015, she resigned from Takarazuka Revue. She resigned from the Takarazuka Regue in May 2015.
Sylvester Levay composed the theme song “Candle In Your Mind” in 2010 for her first original production, The Treasure Sword of Habsburg. Yuzuki was awarded the Rookie Award for Theatre by Agency for Cultural Affairs in 2010 at the 65th ACA Arts Festival.
She led Takarazuka’s first Taiwan tour performance in 2013. In 2014, she led the opening production of Takarazuka Revue’s 100th anniversary production of Napoleon playing the lead role Napoleon. Later in the year, she held her first Budokan concert REON in Budokan in Nippon Budokan. She is the second otokoyaku in Takarazuka’s history to hold a concert in Nippon Budokan.
After resigning from the Takarazuka Revue, she signed with Amuse, Inc. and continued her career on stage. In October to December 2015, she joined the cast of the musical production Prince of Broadway (musical) in Japan which celebrated the career of the 21-time Tony-winning director and producer Hal Prince.
Later, she was promoted to supporting roles in main troupe productions. Chauvelin was one of her most notable roles in The Scarlet Pimpernel, which she performed in Japan in 2008 for the first-time. For her role as Chauvelin, the Matsuo Arts Foundation awarded her the 30th Rookie Art Award. She became Star Troupe’s top star in 2009 after former Top Star Kei Aran retired.

In 1999, she joined Star Troupe. She was the youngest performer to be selected for the Berlin tour in 2000. She was the first performer to be given the role of Andre at The Rose of Versailles’ New Actor Show in 2001. She was given her first Takarazuka Bow Hall leading performance Oi Harukaze-san in 2003. She was then promoted to the New Actor Performances five times in succession, from 2003 to 2006.
Yuzuki started ballet lessons at nine years old. Later, she was deemed too tall to dance ballet so her father and her teacher of dance encouraged her to join Takarazuka Revue. After two years of training in tap, Japanese classical dance and singing, she graduated Takarazuka Music School. She made her debut in Takarazuka Revue Moon Troupe’s 1999 production Nova Bossa Nova.
In 2012, she played Danny Ocean in the Star Troupe’s production of Ocean’s 11 and was awarded the Kikuta Katsuo Performance prize for her performance.
