Reni Jusis, born March 29, 1974 in Konin and raised in Mielno, is a Polish pop singer/songwriter and producer. Jusis started out recording R&B music. Later albums would include electronic dance music. She recorded piano pop music after ten years of professional experience.

Magnes was produced by Jusis (as Mic Microphone) and nearly all of the songs were composed by Przytula. Reni wrote almost all of the lyrics. Nine months prior to the release of the album, the lead single, Kilka prostych Prawd (“A Few Simple Truths”) was released in late 2005. Outwardly, the electro-pop song indicated that the new material would sound the same as the previous one. Magnes was a dance album that proved to be revolutionary. All songs were also merged together like one club set. Reni Jusis’ status as an icon in Polish club music was consolidated with this album. Magnes, the album’s second single, was released with the release of the album. The album featured seven new songs, as well as English-language versions of three old hits (Leniviec and Nigdy Ciebie Nie Zapomne (as How Can You Ever Forget You), and Kto pokocha, and remixes to the first two singles. Mixtura (“Mixture”), Niemy Krazyk (“Mute Shout”) were the next singles from the album.

Magnes also won another Fryderyk Award in 2007 for Best Club Album of the Year. The album was supported by a major club tour, the “Magnes Live Tour”. The tour was promoted by a brand new single, Motyle (“Butterflies”).

While working on this album she married the vocalist and composer Tomek Makowiecki, on August 8, 2008. On January 1, 2010 Jusis gave birth to their son, Teofil.

Yaro started work on Reni’s solo debut album after that success, which was released the following year. Her first success was Zakrecona (“Twisted”) which became the album’s title. It featured a mix of R&B and funk music, as well as hip-hop. Reni wrote all songs mainly with Yaro. Jusis graduated from the Academy of Music in Poznan in choir conducting that same year. The album Zakrecona won 3 Polish Music Industry Fryderyk awards in 1999. They were for Best Debut Of The year, Best Song Of The Years and Best Rap/Hip-Hop Record Of The Year. Reni was a well-known and respected musician. Yaro’s and Reni’s relationship ended due to personal and artistic conflicts.
