Before becoming an actress, Staab worked as a model for the Ford Agency. She made her debut with television series Guiding Light in 1985 and went on to appear in several television shows over the years including episodes of hit shows like Beverly Hills 90210, The Wonder Years, Seinfeld, Dharma & Greg, NCIS, The Mentalist and Desperate Housewives among others.
