Mulliniks was the NESN’s replacement for Jerry Remy, who was ill, during the Boston Red Sox’s May 29-31 trip to Toronto. He also commented for the Toronto Bluejays, where he popularly created the nickname “Teddy Fastball”, a reference to Ted Lilly.
