He stands at 2.01m (6’7″) and plays in the small forward position. After four years of playing at Kentucky, Harris entered the 2010 NBA Draft but was not selected in either the first or second round.
Harris was transferred to Iowa Energy in 2016. Harris’s outstanding performances attracted the Memphis Grizzlies’ attention, but he did not join the team. He played in the NBA Development League again, this time playing for Grand Rapids Drive.
Harris started his professional career with the NBA Development League’s Rio Grande Valley Vipers after he was not selected in the 2010 NBA Draft. He was not signed after the pre-season. He signed a contract with Trotamundos, Venezuela’s top-level LPB league. He joined Ningxia Hanas for the remainder of the season. Harris made his debut in Hangzhou’s 106-95 victory. He played 33 minutes and scored 16 points. Harris also grabbed 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

Harris was a member of the Kentucky Wildcats for four years, mostly as a bench player.
Harris was reacquired in December 2011 by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League. He stayed there for one season, before moving to BG Gottingen. He returned to the NBA Development League for three more seasons. After a brief spell in Mexico with Rayos de Hermosillo, Harris played again with Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
On August 15, 2017, he joined Kolossos Rodou of the Greek Basket League. He joined Rethymno Cretan Kings in 2019. Harris averaged 5.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in 2019-20.
