He made his World Cup debut in that same year in Schladming (Austria) on 15 March 2012.

Weber was injured in pre-season training and missed the start 2016 World Cup. However, Weber was able to return in Val Gardena, mid-December. Weber was 11th in the Super-G race, then he posted the 7th fastest intermediate time halfway down the downhill the next day, but he didn’t finish. Weber was able to reach the top 30 on the World Cup Start List due to injuries sustained by other skiers and the Super-G result. Weber won points in Super-G at Kitzbuhel, his first career points in Alpine Combined. Weber was forced to wait another year after the race jury decided to cancel the downhill race after 30 racers.

2014-15 would be Weber’s first year competing in most of the 2015 World Cup races. Weber finished in 10th position in the Santa Caterina downhill, earning his first World Cup points. Weber also earned his first Super-G points, finishing in 25th place in Saalbach.

Weber made his first major appearance at the 2011 Alpine Skiing Junior World Championships, Crans-Montana (Switzerland). Weber finished 9th in downhill and 17th Super-G.
