Ralph Peters is one of the most popular and richest Novelist who was born on April 19, 1952 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, United States. Ralph Peters, a former lieutenant colonel in the United States Army and author, was born April 19, 1952. Peters was a frequent analyst on Fox News from April 1952 to March 2018. He called the network a propaganda machine for Trump’s administration and accused it of “wittingly harming the system of government for profit.” Anderson Cooper 360deg Peters compared Trump’s behavior with sedition.

Peters worked in military intelligence for ten years in Germany. Later, he became a Foreign Officer with a specialization in the Soviet Union. He was a Command and General Staff College graduate. His final assignment was to the Office of the Deputy chief of Staff for Intelligence. In 1998, he retired as a lieutenant colonel after 22 years of service.

Peters strongly supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq and the ensuing Iraq War. In July 2017, Fox News host Tucker Carlson told Peters: “I would hate to go back and read your columns assuring America that taking out Saddam Hussein will make the region calmer, more peaceful, and America safer when, in fact, it has done exactly the opposite, and it has empowered Russia and Iran, the two countries you say you fear most.”

Peters expressed sympathy for POW Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl’s family, but speculated (Fox News, July 19, 2009) that Bergdahl might be “an apparent deserter … if he walked away from his post and his buddies in wartime – I don’t care how hard it sounds – as far as I’m concerned the Taliban can save us a lot of legal hassles and legal bills.” He characterized Bergdahl’s description (in the Taliban produced video) of U.S. military behavior in Afghanistan as collaboration with the enemy, even if coerced. Peters hoped Bergdahl would be reunited with his family, but argued that the US media had glorified one captured soldier who Peters claimed had shamed his unit and lied, while ignoring genuine heroes and casualties (The O’Reilly Factor, July 21).

Bravo Romeo was Peters’s first novel. It was a spy thriller set within West Germany and published in 1981. His novels have evolved from futuristic scenarios that involved the Soviet Army to current terrorism and failed states. His characters are often portrayed as military mavericks with the courage and knowledge to solve problems that others can’t or won’t. In 2009, he published The War After Armageddon. He published the nonfiction book Looking for Trouble: Adventures in a Broken World in 2008. He contributes regularly to Armchair General Magazine’s military history magazine. He also serves as its Advisory Board member.
