Narisetti holds a B.A. (Economics) from Osmania University (India), an MBA from IRMA (India) and a M.A. degree from the Indiana University (USA). He joined The Washington Post, and rejoined the Wall Street Journal in 2012. He became the Senior Vice-President, Strategy, for News Corporation where he helped the media group grow new revenue opportunities, particularly in Asia. In 2007, as the founding editor, Narisetti helped launch the Mint – a business newspaper in India belonging to the HT Media Ltd, which is also the publisher of Hindustan Times.
