Williams was an actor as a child on television and movies. He won the Young Artist Award for Best Actor in a Daytime Series at the 12th Annual Youth In Film Awards for his role in General Hospital. In the 1983 Magnum P.I. episode, Home From the Sea, he also played the role of Thomas Magnum as a young child. He was also the voice of Kissyfur the cartoon bear, which he created in 1986. A few episodes of Full House featured him, as well as an episode of Star Trek: the Next Generation (The Child) in 1988. Williams was the voice of Kit Cloudkicker on the animated series TaleSpin in the 1990s.
