Qobul Raimovich Berdiev (Russian name: Kabul Raimovich Berdiev, Uzbek name: Qobul Rayimovich Berdiyev) is an Uzbek army officer who served as the Minister of Defence of Uzbekistan between September 17, 2008 and September 4, 2017. He is a Colonel General.
He served as a commander and staff officer in the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Soviet Union from 1976 to 1998.
From 2006 to 2008 he was Minister of Emergency Situations. From June 2008 to September 2008 he was Deputy Minister of Defense and Commander of the Southwest Military District. By presidential decree on 17 September 2008, he was appointed as Minister of Defence. He was dismissed on 4 September 2017 by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and was transferred to the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan of which he was rector for a year.
