Primary is one of the most popular and richest Record Producer who was born on January 31, 1983 in Seoul, South Korea. Choi Donghoon, born January 31, 1983, is a South Korean rapper and record producer. He was signed by Amoeba Culture.

Primary has worked with many artists to produce the albums Back Again and Primary Score, Daily Apartment and Primary and The Messengers. He also produced albums for Korean hip-hop artists such as the first album of Supreme Team, Dynamic Duos Kill and their second album, Supremier. Infinite Challenge, a variety show on MBC in 2013, featured him.

Primary performed a sold out concert with Zion.T on August 31st and September 1st at the Lotte Art Center, Seoul. Primary was also a part of the 2013 Infinite Challenge Song Festival. He performed with Park Myeongsu and produced a song for Park Jiyoon. He composed two songs for the event: “I Got C” (with Park Myeong-su) and “Mr. Lee”. Later, it was discovered that they had sung the songs of Dutch artist Caro Green’s “Liquid Lunch”, and “One Day” without permission. Primary officially gave credit to Grandmono, Caro Emerald’s composer group, for the songs. All proceeds from the song I Got C were donated later. Primary later produced “Without You” to promote Infinite H.

Primary was involved in South Korean hip-hop in 2004 through collaborations with Dynamic Duo, Garion and others. While attending Seoul Jazz Academy, Primary also gained musical experience. He debuted in 2006 with Daily Apartment, a collaboration with Beenzino. His name was P’ Skool. Primary donned a cardboard mask and bird beak to make the album more memorable as part of his promotion. Although the band is no longer active, they still perform live for Supreme Team and Dynamic Duo.

Primary and Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko crafted a song for Quincy Jones’ 2011 trip to Korea. Jones sang it at a press conference, and expressed his gratitude for the track. Primary released the first half of their album Primary and the Messengers in 2011. The four remaining parts were then released through October 2012. The album includes 23 collaborations. With the song “Question Mark”, he reached the top ten of various Korean music charts. (Question Mark),” November 2012. Primary shared a stage with Dynamic duo at the 2012 MBC Gayo Daejun.

On March 24, 2020 Amoeba Culture announced that their exclusive contract with Primary had been terminated.
