He is an American drummer and graphic designer. He was an original member of the San Francisco- based rock band, the Tubes. From 1992 to 2008, he was part of Jefferson Starship and has collaborated with many other musicians as a session musician.
He was an original member of Jefferson Starship. In 1992, he was renamed “Jefferson Starship-The Next Generation”. He appears on both the band’s studio albums, Windows of Heaven (1999) and Jefferson’s Tree of Liberty (2008), as well as numerous live albums. Prince made it clear that he would be leaving the band in 2008 on amicable terms. He is still available for international performances.
He is a highly sought-after session musician, and recently played drums/percussion on all tracks from Chuck Prophet’s 2012 album Temple Beautiful.
