Pil Trafa is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on January 2, 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Enrique Chalar, better known as Pil Trafa (born February 1, 1959), is an Argentine singer and composer. His band Los Violadores is widely regarded as the founder of punk in Spanish Latin America.
Together with Stuka, they formed the duo [email protected] in 1999. They edited a Homonym album before being separated in 2000.
With several lineup changes, Pil Trafa was the only permanent member until the final separation in 2011.
In 2015, he released his second solo album with his new band “Los Violadores de la Ley”, entitled Último hombre, material produced by Steve Diggle, bassist Buzzcocks.
Pil Trafa, the former Sex Pistols guitarist, formed Pilsen in 1992. It only released two albums, 1993 and 1994. The group would also have the production of Ronald Biggs, the famous “train robber”. The band split in 1995.

Chalar’s musical career began in the 1980s when he founded Los Violadores (“The Violators”), referring to breaking the laws as described in “Violadores de la Ley”, one of their songs. He was joined by Gustavo Fossa, Sergio Gramatica, and Robert “Polish” Zelazek, on electric guitar. From 1983 to 1991, six studio albums were released by this lineup, which influenced British punk groups like The Clash and The Damned. The most well-known songs include “Represion”, Uno, dos ultraviolento”, and “Mas al bien, mas alle del mal”.
Pil Trafa moved to Peru in the 1990s with Claudia Huerta, a Peruvian producer, and Ian, his son.
In 2004, he released his first solo album, entitled El monopolio de las palabras (in English: The monopoly of the words) and their first single was a cover of Manu Chao, Clandestino.
