Per Vers started rapping in 1991 and was during the semi-finals of a the rap competition that took place in Jylland. He took home the freestyle contest, beating MC Clemens and the late Preacherman which led to a lengthy dispute with Per Vers and Danish rapper MC Clemens. From 1992 until 1994, Per Vers worked in a partnership with DJ Moller producer Langemand in forming the group rap Sund Fornuft. After the break-up of the group Per Vers worked as a solo performer and won an MMC’s Fight Night twice in 2000 as well as 2001. He also was judged in the same contest.
Mixtape compilations were released and his debut album Vers 1.0. He also performed with artists such as DJ Noize, Nappion, Luco, DJ Static and Ayoe Angelica. The year 2008 saw him started Kinski which is a spoken word rap group together with the spoken-word artist Ole Omkvaed and producer Turkman Souljah. The album was released in the year 2008 Taler and ink via Per Vers’ own label Mixed Ape Music.
