Paul Teng is one of the most popular and richest Comics Artist who was born on March 6, 1955 in Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands. Paul Teng Ping Ya (born 6 March 1955) is a Dutch comic book creator and artist. He is a comic book writer and artist who focuses on authentic historical comics.

From 2004 until 2008 , the comic book series De oneven Orde issues. The story is complex that alternates between the present and the middle times. The story is based on the mystick manuscript that is about destruction and death. The scenarios are composed by Rudi Miel and Christina Cuadra. The series comprises five issues.

He also made short comic introduction for each chapter of the children’s book Kinderen van Amsterdam, a history book for children about children who played a role in the history of Amsterdam. This book was written by Jan Paul Schutten and won the Gouden Griffel a Dutch award for the best and original children’s book issued in 2008. After this project he also did the same for the book Kinderen van Nederland.

In 2012 was announced that he wins the Stripschapprijs 2013 for his complete oeuvre.

In 1998, he began writing his own series of Shane which is well-loved by his fans. The series is based on plays from the European Middle ages, the 12th century. The script is written by Jean Francois Di Giorgio. The series consists of five issues.
