Paul Kimball is one of the most popular and richest Filmmaker who was born on January 2, 1967 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Paul Andrew Kimball (born January 2nd 1967) is a Canadian film and television producer as well as a writer and director and politician, who lives within Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kimball’s films include a number of documentaries films on UFOs.

Many of the documentaries by Kimball have explored paranormal subjects like ghosts, UFOs and cryptozoology. Since 2005, he’s maintained a blog on different paranormal topics called”The Another Side of Truth. The first book he wrote, The Other Side of Truth The Paranormal: the Art of the Imagination, and The Human Condition, was released in October 2012 published by Redstar Books. Kimball is the son of ufologist and author Stanton Friedman, but is not convinced that extraterrestrials are primary explanations for the UFO phenomenon. He also is an active opponent of the Exopolitics movement, a position that has provoked controversy among those who believe in the Extraterrestrial theory.

In June 2016, Kimball announced he was attempting to enter provincial politics by seeking the Progressive Conservative nomination in the riding of Halifax Needham. In July 2016, he lost the nomination, finishing third on the first ballot. In October 2016, Kimball was nominated as the Progressive Conservative candidate in Clayton Park West for the 2017 general election. On election night, Kimball finished second with 26% of the vote to Liberal candidate Rafah DiCostanzo.

As a TV and film producer/writer/director in 1999 and on, Kimball has created over 12 documentaries covering various topics for a variety of networks that include Space, Bravo, Vision TV, CBC, TVNZ, SCN, Knowledge Network, EastLink TV, UFO TV and TrueVisions. The films include paranormal-themed ones like Stanton T. Friedman is Real (2002), Fields of Fear (2006), and Best Evidence: Top 10 UFO Sightings (2007). Between 2008 and 2009, the director wrote directed, produced, and hosted the television show Ghost Cases in Canada for EastLink TV. He also produced, wrote and directed the two-season TV program The Classical Now (2003-2005) as well as the documentary on classical music Denise Djokic: Seven Days Seven Nights (2003) that included the the world- renowned Canadian cellist Denise Djokic, and the performance film Synchronicity (2008) All made by Bravo (Canada). Kimball’s debut feature film Eternal Kiss, was released in 2010, and premiered during the Atlantic Film Festival. The sequel to his feature film was a supernatural thriller called The Cuckoo and the Clock and his third film Roundabout came out in the year 2014. His fourth movie, Kimball’s Exit Thread was released in the year 2016.

Kimball graduated as an University Scholar from Acadia University in 1989. She graduated with an honors degree in both history and political science. She graduated after that, she graduated at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 1992.

In 2007 Kimball adapted and directed a version of the Peter Weiss play Marat / Sade. Kimball followed Marat / Sade later in the year with the science fiction play Doing Time, which he co-wrote with American author Mac Tonnies. It premiered in November in Halifax, Nova Scotia to positive reviews. Kimball also directed Doing Time at the 2008 Boulder International Fringe Festival.
