In the year 2006, Alexander began piano lessons at the College Conservatory, University of Cincinnati together with his daughter in the result of a father- daughter relationship. The lessons led to Alexander becoming a renowned pianist, and the creator of the novel “Perform … an NFL Coach Trains with a Concert Pianist” (a journey for musicians, athletes coaches and teachers) in which he demonstrates the characteristics of elite performances between performers and athletes. In 2014, Alexander conducted Hamilton Fairfield Symphony Orchestra in Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmuzik. Alexander has spoken extensively about the highest level of performance across North America and Europe.

2019 Alexander began consulting for ProCoach.Network and trained first round draft picks Jonah Williams (Alabama drafted by Bengals) and Andre Dillard (Washington State drafted by Eagles). Paul Alexander, a Spencerport, N.Y., native earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education, with a minor in music, from SUNY Cortland in 1982. He played offensive tackle for the Red Dragons for three seasons from 1979-81. Following his senior season he was selected as the college’s first-ever Academic All American, named by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). In 1982 Alexander was awarded as SUNY Cortland’s Men’s Athletic Association Athlete of the Year. In 1985 Alexander received a Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from Penn State University. In 2012, Alexander was inducted into the C-Club Hall of Fame. In 2018, Alexander was the Commencement Speaker and received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from his alma mater, SUNY Cortland.

Alexander’s offensive line helped pave the path for two NFL record-setting rushing performances for Bengal’s running back Corey Dillon. In his first season, 1997 Dillon ran 39 times, scoring 246 yards as well as four touchdowns in a win of 41-14 against Tennessee. Tennessee Oilers breaking Jim Brown’s NFL record for rookies in a single game which stood for forty years. On the 22nd of October the 22nd of October, 2000 Dillon established the NFL record for the most yards he rushed in a single contest (278 miles) in a game against the Denver Broncos, breaking Walter Payton’s record of 275 yards, which was set on the 20th of November, 1977.
