Patrick Bevin is one of the most popular and richest Cyclist who was born on February 15, 1991 in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand. Patrick “Paddy” Bevin (born 15 February 1991) is a New Zealand professional road racing cyclist, currently racing for the UCI WorldTeam CCC Team.

Bevin later travelled to Taiwan to take part at Taiwan to compete in the 2.1-ranked 2014 Tour de Taiwan. The second day, Bevin took the top finish on the hill ahead of Hossein Askari, and then was the leader of the race. Following his loss of the race lead in the race to Samad Pourseyedi (Tabriz Petrochemical Team) on the following day Bevin was fourth in the overall race and was crowned the winner of the points classification. He been in the top 10 for four stages. The next race he competed in took place at in the Tour de Korea. Bevin placed fourth on the stage (beating Caleb Ewan in the sprint) and was second on five other stages. He was also third in both general and points classifications.

He was named in the startlist for the 2016 Vuelta a España. In June 2017, he was named in the startlist for the 2017 Tour de France.

In August of 2015 it was revealed that Bevin was signed for a two-year contract to compete for Cannondale on Cannondale on the UCI World Tour for Cannondale as well as Jonathan Vaughters describing him as “a rider who seems to have it all”.

In 2015, now riding for Avanti, Bevin came third in the New Zealand National Time Trial Championships and sixth in the New Zealand National Road Race Championships. After finishing 13th in the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, he rode in the 2015 Herald Sun Tour. In this race, he finished in the top 10 in three stages, including victory on the final stage (his first professional- level win) at Arthur’s Seat. He came second overall in the race, 11 seconds behind Cameron Meyer (Orica–GreenEDGE). His next race was The REV Classic in New Zealand, Bevin’s home race and newly promoted to 1.2 status; Bevin won the race in a three-man sprint.
