Patrick Alan Listach (born September 12th 1997) is the former manager of the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League and also a Former Major League Baseball shortstop, minor league manager and third base coach in the major leagues. As of now, he is the Manager for the Acereros De Monclova of the Mexican League.
In 1996, Listach was transferred with the New York Yankees along with Graeme Lloyd for outfielder Gerald Williams and pitcher Bob Wickman. Since the Yankees were acquiring the rookie Derek Jeter installed at shortstop the Yankees planned to employ Listach as an outfielder backup and had made the deal specifically to take on Lloyd. Listach however, been diagnosed with what appeared to be a bruise hours prior to the transfer. The injury was later revealed to be a fractured bones in the foot of his. He was sent to the Yankees brought Listach back to the Brewers for a shortstop replacement, but they chose shortstop Gabby Martinez in lieu.
Listach became the Washington Nationals’ third-base coach starting with the 2009 season.
Listach served as bench coach for the Chicago Cubs for the 2011 season, replacing Alan Trammell who left to become the Diamondbacks bench coach. Listach was replaced by new bench coach, Jamie Quirk, during the 2011 off- season, and became the Cubs third-base coach for the 2012 season. He became the minor league infield coordinator for the Los Angeles Dodgers organization in 2013.
Listach played in just 52 times in the Majors after 1996. All with the Houston Astros in 1997. Listach was part of the 1998 the spring of 1998 Training as a member of the Seattle Mariners, who released him prior to the start of the start of the season. The season he was with the Triple-A affiliates from the Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies before resigning.

Listach was selected in the 5th Round in the 1988 Major League Baseball Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.
The best season of his professional career was during 1992. It was his rookie season. After being summoned from minor league by Brewers in April, Brewers at the beginning of April Listach gained prominence as a player on a team that had 92 wins and competed in his place in the American League playoffs. Listach was the very first Brewer to steal more than 50 bases in one season. The 54 bases he stole during 1992 was just behind the number accumulated by Kenny Lofton, another prominent rookie with his team, the Cleveland Indians, during that season. Listach would later take home the 1991 American League Rookie of the Award of the Year.
Listach became a manager in the Chicago Cubs minor league system. He managed the Double-A West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx in 2006, the Tennessee Smokies in 2007, and the Triple-A Iowa Cubs in 2008. In 2008 Listach was honored as Pacific Coast League Manager of the Year by peers and league media representatives for leading the Iowa Cubs to an 83-59 record and a playoff appearance.
