In his time playing in minor leagues the player was a two-time minor league All Star (Carolina League – 1989, Southern League – 1992). One of his favorite memories from his time in the minor leagues was when he was part of the legendary 1993 Greenville Braves that won 100 games. That record remains in place to this day.
