Park Chul-soon (Hangul: bagceolsun, Hanja Po Zhe Chun and also known as Cheol Sun Park, Bak Cheol Sun) (born on 12 March 1956, in Busan, South Korea) is an ex- South Korean pitcher in the KBO League who played for the OB Bears. Park played right-handed baseball and bat. He was the 2nd South Korean player to sign with an Major League team and play in the minor leagues, following Lee Won-Kuk.
Park left the team in the year 1996 to be the Bears the pitching coach which he did until the year 1998.
However, injuries kept him out of Park throughout 1983 and the entirety of 1984. After returning to the league in 1985, he gained the moniker “Phoenix,” but never pitched more than 116-1/2 innings in a different season. He was relegated to relief and still plagued with injuries He pitched for 13 seasons with the Bears. In the summer of 1994, aged 38, he established the KBO record as the oldest player to pitch a shutout , when he defeated his opponents, the Taepyeongyang Dolphins. (The record was broken later by the Song Jin-woo.)

Park was a student at Daeseong High School in Daejeon as well as Baemyung High School in Seoul. After graduating from high school, Park was a pitcher in the team of Yonsei University, where in 1979, he won the Korean-American college baseball championship. This resulted in him being signed to a deal by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Moving to America in 1980. United States in 1980, Park pitched for the Class-A Stockton Ports and then the Double-A El Paso Diablos. Through his two years playing in the Minor Leagues, Park finished 11-12 and had an average of 4.30 earn-run average.
Park Chul-Soon’s number 21 was retired by the Doosan Bears in 2002.
