Pandeli Sotir Majko (born 15 November 1967) is a prominent Albanian socialist politician from Albania. He was twice Premier Minister of Albania in 1998 and again from 1998 to 1999 and again in 2002.
In 1992, he joined into the Albanian Parliament as a member of The Socialist Party. Between 1997 and 2001, he was a member in the parliamentary committee tasked with the responsibility of writing an updated Constitution of Albania. Between 1997 and 1998, Majko served as secretary-general of the Socialist Party and head of the group’s parliamentary section.
After the government of Ilir Meta, he briefly came back to premiership from February to July 2002. He subsequently held the post of Minister of Defence from July 2002 to September 2005 in the government of Fatos Nano. Following the government’s defeat in the 2005 elections, he returned to his former position as secretary general of the Socialist Party.
