Pablo Chinchilla is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on December 21, 1978 in San José, Costa Rica. Pablo Chinchilla Vega (born December 21 1978, in Escazu) is an Escazu- based Costa Rican footballer who currently is the manager of a player for Austrian lower league club FC Koblach.
In the summer of 2006, Chinchilla returned to Austrian team SC Rheindorf Altach, and played two seasons alongside them in the Austrian Football Bundesliga. After a brief time back in Costa Rica at Liberia Mia Chinchilla returned to Austria after signing for LASK Linz in January 2009. He became an amateur after he signed with lower league club Lochau.
In summer 2013, Chinchilla left Lochau and moved to Austrian Landesklasse side Koblach to become player manager and extended his contract with a year in March 2014.
Chinchilla began his professional career within the youth section of the Primera Division de Costa Rica team Alajuelense. Chinchilla was loaned to Austrian team Altach for a period of time, but was being recalled by Liga and eventually he was promoted to their senior squad making his debut as a professional for them on August 15th 1999 in a game against Carmelita. He got his goal for the first time on September 1999 in a game against San Carlos. After five years with the Rojinegros in which he was the winner of the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup the club was signed by Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer before the season 2005. His time within the USA was not very successful and he was re-admitted to Alajuelense after only one season.

At junior levels, Chinchilla played at the 1995 FIFA U-17 World Championship and the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship.
The player made his first appearance with Costa Rica in a November 1999 friendly game against Slovakia and was awarded an impressive 39 caps and scored one goal. He was an infrequent addition to the 2002 World Cup squad, replacing the injured Reynaldo Parks. He played for Costa Rica in the 2003 UNCAF Nations Cup as well as 2002 and the CONCACAF Gold Cups. He was a non- playing team participant at the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
His final international was a February 2008 friendly game against Jamaica.
