P. Ravi Shankar is one of the most popular and richest Film Director who was born on November 28, 1966 in Andhra Pradesh, India. He also said how his debut Kannada film included Halli Krishna Delhi Radha. His second Kannada film is Mana Mecchida Sose. The film that marked his 50th birthday was Jigarthanda.
The actor’s brother is Saikumar Pudipeddi. He has been awarded the state’s nine Nandi Awards for Best Male Dubbing Artist as well as two Tamil Nadu State Film Award for the Best Male Dubbing Artist. His directorial debut was through Durgi, the Kannada movie Durgi in the year 2004. He also served as a writer of dialogues and wrote dialogues for more than 75 Telugu films as well as 150 Tamil films. His performance was not only widely praised by the critics, but he also bagged his dream Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Kannada at the 59th Filmfare Awards South. He was the dubbing in the role of Pradeep Rawat’s role in the film. He received 4 consecutive Nandi Awards from 2006 to 2009 for his work in the movies Pokiri, Athidhi, Arundhati and Anjaneyulu each. He also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for the Best Male Dubbing Artist for his work for Ashish Vidyarthi’s 2001 film Dhill.

Pudipeddi Ravi Shankar (born 28 November 1966) Also called Kempegowda, Armuga Ravishankar, Bommali Ravi Shankar or Sai Ravi is an Indian film actor and director, dubbing artist and writer. He became famous with the film Kempe Gowda with Sudeep. He is primarily seen in Kannada films but has also appeared in a handful of Telugu as well as Tamil films. He has dubbed over 2600 movies, and greater than 1,000 films for Telugu as well as Tamil languages. He also dubbed for more than 150 Kannada films.
P. Ravi Shankar made his debut film debut as an actor in 1986 in R. Narayana Murthy’s movie Aalochinchandi. Later, he appeared as a supporting actor in films like Madhura Nagarilo as well as Keechurallu. Without any opportunities, Ravi took a hiatus from acting, and returned as an antagonist in 2001 in Gopi Chand’s first movie Tholi Valapu. The lack of success in his acting career led him to take up dubbing as a profession , like his brother and father. He began his professional dubbing career through his first film, the Telugu movie Rowdyism Zindabad, where he dub-subbed in the role of Tamil actor Mohan Raj. He continued to do dubbing for a variety of actors from different languages like Raghuvaran, Mohan Raj, Devaraj, Charan Raj, Captain Raju, Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Sonu Sood, Mukesh Rishi, Upendra and Pradeep Rawat etc. He dubs for more than 4000 movies, with more than 1000 films with Telugu as well as Tamil and more than 150 movies in Kannada. In 2004 He directed the direction of a Kannada film called Durgi which starred Malashri. Later, the film would be remade into Telugu as Narasimhudu with N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ameesha Patel, and Sameera Reddy. Ravi wrote the script for the film that produced by B. Gopal. The film was widely criticized and was a failure on the screen.
His dubbing work in the 2009 film Arundhati, where he voiced for Sonu Sood, was praised in a review on Idlebrain. He won a Nandi award for his performance and was referred to as “Bommali Ravi Shankar” by the media.
