Orrin James Olsen (born July 7 1953) is an ex- American center of the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs. Olsen was a part of the team for one season in the Chiefs in 1976. This was notable for the two brothers he had, Merlin and Phil, were also in this league during that time. Before the time, Olsen played college football for Brigham Young University.

Olsen is a native of Logan, Utah and is the youngest of Lynn Olsen and Merle Olsen’s 9 children. Olsen was a student at Orem High School in Orem, Utah. A multi-sport player, Olsen received the honor of being named All-American in football in his senior year. He also established a state record in discus, while with the team for track.

Olsen was picked to his fellow Chiefs during the eighteenth selection round of 1976’s NFL draft. The season he played for the Chiefs was unique in that the siblings Merlin as well as Phil were also in the league. It was one of the rare occasions in NFL history when three brothers played in the same season. In 1985 and since, Olsen has worked for LDS Philanthropies as a Donor Liaison.
