From 2003 until 2007, she was the female vocalist from Be-Folk which was a comedy group performing original songs as well as songs with lyrics (by Ciccio Piras).
In 2006 she entered to take part in the Palermo Workshop Cultural Association, with which she made two editions of the Horizontal Laboratory.
In 2007 she began her experience in the recording studio making the album Abballalaluna by Mario Incudine. From 1995 until 1998. Oriana Civile served as the vocalist of the Studio’90 cover band that played Italian light music. It was formed and led by piano player Franco Calio.
Between 2000 and 2012, she resided between 2000 and 2012 in Palermo in Italy, where she studied at both faculties, Psychology as well as Music. which merged the two fields into a degree that specialized in music therapy. An important aspect of her artistic journey was determined in 2004 by attending the theoretical/practical Laboratory of Ethnomusicology at the University of Palermo, led by Professor Girolamo Garofalo and based on the study of traditional oral music and singing. Exploring the enigmatic world of ancient communities, listening to the music of oral traditions, and researching ethnomusicology records compiled by experts in the field that date through 1800 helped her realize that the most well-known notion about Sicilian popular music was utterly altered. Then she developed an interest in and committed herself to studying this inaccessible cultural heritage with great enthusiasm and reverence respect, and reviving some of the most precious treasures.
From 2005 to 2010 she was the female voice in the Gruppo Terra (Earth Group) that accompanied the singer-songwriter Mario Incudine on tour.
