Omneya was the winner of her first World Junior Championship in Egypt 2003. Omneya was the star of her junior career in in her hometown of Cairo after she won the World Junior title after having been runner-up against Nicol David in 2001 and 1999. It was because of her extraordinary talent that she had already been competing in the WISPA Tour in her mid teens. Her achievements have been demonstrated by her having attained a record 7 in ranking of the world earlier in 2005.
The most memorable moment of 2005 was when she reached match ball against the world’s top player Rachael Grinham to win the Hurghada International in her country of origin, but she lost the game. Omneya also made it to two finals which were in Greenwich and Dayton each within the United States, and finished as a runner-up. Omneya was then awarded her first Marsh McLennan title after defeating Vicky Botwright.
