Following his inability to be selected in the 2010 NBA draft, Samhan joined the Dallas Mavericks for the 2010 NBA Summer League. On the 16th of July, 2010 Samhan signed a two-year contract (with the possibility of a third) together with Zalgiris in Zalgiris of the Lithuanian Basketball League. He quit Zalgiris after only one season.
