It was a member of the Polisario Front in 1974, as a member of the youth section of UJSARIO in the final phase of Spanish Colonial period. He completed his studies from the department of History in the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, Spain.
He began his diplomatic career in the year 1976, working at the Polisario representation in France. Between 1977 and the year 1980, he was a member of his first Sahrawi Embassy within Cuba as well as Panama. Between 1983 and 1988, there were diplomatic missions that were punctual to Germany, Austria, Mexico, Greece, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Italy and Portugal. From 1988 to 2008, he served as the Polisario representative in various Spanish Autonomous Communities including the Canary Islands from the late 1990s through 2002, and from 2002 to 2008, he was the chief of the Polisario representation in Catalonia. The year 2008 was the first time he was appointed as plenipotentiary and extraordinary Sahrawi resident ambassador to Venezuela. On the 25th of June 2009, he took over from Hach Ahmed Bericalla, who was the Sahrawi non-resident ambassador to Ecuador. On March 24, 2011, he handed over to the President Evo Morales a letter of accreditation to be the Sahrawi non-resident ambassador by Bolivia. Plurinational state of Bolivia.
On February 18, 2017, Emboirik Ahmed was granted an honorary degree by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), his alma mater.
