Oliver Venno is one of the most popular and richest Volleyball Player who was born on May 23, 1990 in Tartu, Estonia. Oliver Venno (born 23 May 1990) is an Estonian volleyball player who is currently working for Galatasaray Istanbul of the Turkish Men’s Volleyball League. He is primarily at the opposite position, but has also played in the position of outsider hitter several occasions.

In the 2013-14 season, Venno joined Prikamye Perm of the Russian Volleyball Super League. Then in June of 2014, Venno relocated from Russia to Austria after signing a contract with the local giant Hypo Tirol innsbruck. With the Hypo Tirol’s team, he won the Austrian League without losing a single game throughout the season. Additionally, he added a second MEVZA Cup win to his account. In July of 2015, Venno was signed by Ziraat Bankasi Ankara of the Turkish Men’s Volleyball League. The following season, the player joined another team based in Ankara Maliye Milli Piyango. Venno was the highest scorer in the league and led the team achieve a 5th place finish. Venno was with the team for the remainder of the season and led Maliye Piyango to reach the Final of the Turkish Cup for the first time in its history. they fell in the final to Halkbank Ankara with the score 3-3. Venno as well as Maliye Piyango both made it to the semi-finals of CEV Challenge Cup in 2017-18. CEV Challenge Cup where they fell to eventual winners Bunge Ravenna in the gold set.

Venno is a native of Tartu and began his professional career with the club he grew up in Pere Leib Tartu at the age of 16 years old. In addition to winning three Estonian League silver medals he was the winner of the Estonian Cup in 2008 with the team and made it to Finals for the Baltic League twice. Venno was awarded the title of Best in the Young Estonian Volleyball Player in 2008 as well as 2009. In the summer of 2009 Venno was signed by ACH Volley Bled of Slovenia. As part of Bled, the Bled team Venno took home the Slovenian League, the Slovenian Cup and the MEVZA Cup. They also made it to the final Four in the 2009-10 CEV Champions League making Venno the first Estonian to be a part of Semi-Finals of CEV Champions League. In 2010 , and 2011, Venno received the Estonian Volleyball Player of the Award for the year. From 2010 until 2012, he was a player with Germany as a player for VfB Friedrichshafen and won the German League and the German Cup one time. Venno began the 2012-13 season with Budvanska Rivijera Budva, the Montenegrin premier side Budvanska Rivijera Budva. The team was disbanded in December and joined colleagues Raimo Pajusalu as well as Keith Pupart in the French team Rennes Volley 35.
