Oleg Bezuglov is one of the most popular and richest Jazz Violinist who was born on May 20, 1984 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Oleg Vyacheslavovich (Russian: Oleg Viacheslavovich Bezuglov 20 May 1984 Rostov-on- Don Russia) is an Russian violinist and chamber musician, as well as teacher. He was the co-founder of the piano and violin duo Class&Jazz. The most prestigious member for the Russian Musical Society since 2010.
Bezuglov completed his studies at the Rostov State Rachmaninoff Conservatory (M.M. in violin performance, 2006; D.M.A. in chamber music in chamber music, 2009) in violin performance, 2006; as well as Michigan State University College of Music (D.M.A. in violin performance, 2017). He has been studying chamber music and violin performances in the studios of Dmitri Berlinsky Dmitri Sheinkman as well as Margarita Chernykh. He also studied compose together with Vitaly Hodosh.
Since 2010 Bezuglov is living in US, where he has been studying with professor Dmitri Berlinsky at MSU College of Music. Since 2012, he was professor Berlinsky’s teaching assistant. Bezuglov was the principal violinist with the International Chamber Soloists strings orchestra, and the Concertmaster of the Ad Libitum chamber orchestra. He is also the member of the ION Piano Trio, Michigan State String Quartet, and OctoOpus+ String Nonet.
In 2006, Oleg In 2006, the musician was invited to be a part of The string group AnarchY which was formed and was directed by Azerbaijani violinist Anar Yusifov. The group was among the principal participants in the show project “Golden Violin”, which was first performed at the Rostov State Musical Theater (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) in September of 2007. The AnarchY quartet was known for mixing classical music with pop and rock styles.

In 2005, along with pianist Natalia Reflova, he created his group, the Instrumental Jazz Duo. The repertoire of the duo includes classical music and jazz classics. The ensemble was a winner of several international competitions in classical music. These include The First Prize in the 1st Dmitri Shostakovitch International Competition of Chamber Ensembles and Piano Duos (Moscow, Russia 2008) and the 3rd Prize as well as the Bronze Medal at the 7th International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition in New England (Boston, MA 2016). Class&Jazz has been featured at many music festivals across the globe, including the sixteenth International Brahms Festival in Portschach am Worthersee (Austria 2009) third Festival of Contemporary Music “Rostov Premieres” (Russia 2006.), Moscow musical festival of the forum “Klassika” (Russia, 2009) and fourth International Festival “Odessa Dialogues” (Ukraine 2009). In 2009, the duo began their chamber music event “Christmas Premieres” in their home town of Rostov-on-Don in Russia. They were the creators as well as performers for the first music project, Music and War, which was first performed in Russia in 2009. Class&Jazz Duo produced two CD-albums. Their recordings of Shostakovich and Beethoven piano and violin sonatas was released in September 2013 was highly acclaimed from Phoenix Classical for “excellent performance – very expressive and emotive – precise intonation and technique – great balance with the piano – deeply poetic playing”.
In 2008 Oleg Bezuglov became a laureate of the national award program “Golden Talent” administered by the Russian Performing Art foundation. In 2010 he was instated as the member and the Honored Worker of the Russian Musical Society. Throughout his career, Oleg received grants from several foundations, including Alexander Glazunov foundation in Munich, Germany (2009), Johannes Brahms Society in Pörtschach, Austria (2009), Spenser & Eleanor Maurer Foundation (2010), and Johnson Coleman Foundation in USA (2012).
