His first single “Rain”, a cover of a song by Anthony Callea was decided by a poll conducted on his website, winning 60% of his fans’ votes.
In 2007 he recorded the song “Du är Musiken i Mig” with Molly Sandén, which became the Swedish language version of “You Are the Music in Me” for the film High School Musical 2.
At the beginning of his audition in Malmo in Sweden, he performed “This I Promise You” from ‘N Sync and then “Mandy” from Barry Manilow and Westlife and, finally “Against All Odds” from Phil Collins as a duet. At just 19 and from Lund He sang his audition for a qualifying one “Show Me Heaven”, the song by Maria McKee. This audition got broadcast on September 21st, 2005 on the Swedish TV4 channel.

Ola Nils Hakan Svensson (born 23 February, 1986) from Lund, Skane, professionally known as Brother Leo is a Swedish musician and performer. In 2014., the artist was known under the name, Ola. His professional career started with Swedish Idol in 2005; but since his 8th place finish, Ola has released four albums. Eleven of his albums have been ranked in the Top 5, with 6 making it to the top spot among the Swedish singles chart. He has also achieved platinum and gold certification. After signing with Universal Music for many years, Ola founded his own record label Oliniho Records for the Swedish market. He also has distribution agreements in place with Sony Music in Europe and internationally. Beginning in 2018, he releases as the stage name Brother Leo with Columbia Records.
He was then eliminated on Live Show 4 broadcast on 21 October 2005, following the song by Justin Timberlake “Cry Me a River” and receiving the least votes from the audience. The contest ended the eighth overall performer for the season.
