Oded Forer (Hebrew: voded Prvorer born on 30 May 1977) is an Israeli politician currently serving as an official Member of the Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu from late 2015.

In 2013, he was named Director-General in the ministry of Immigration Absorption which was under the Secretary Sofa Landver. Under his leadership, the rates of aliyah rose by 30 percent.

In 2011 In 2011, he was a member of Yisrael Beiteinu, becoming chairman of the youth division. He was listed as 16th on the list of Yisrael Beiteinu’s party members of candidates for 2012 Knesset elections. But, when Yisrael Beiteinu joined an alliance list with Likud and Likud, he was placed 43rd and failed to gain the seat.

Forer was born in Rehovot and was raised in Rehovot. The father of his son, Shuki Forer, served as Rehovot’s mayor. His great-grandfather’s paternal grandfather was among the pioneers who first settled within Rehovot in the First Aliyah. Forer served as an officer of the Israeli Navy. He worked as a consultant for the Education Minister Limor Livnat between 2001 and 2005. He also served as Secretary for the Israeli Council for Culture and Arts. The year 2005 was the time he established a consulting firm.

In the lead-up to the 2008 Knesset elections, Forer was a candidate in his Shfela area slot on the Likud list. However in the wake of the party’s primaries Forer was placed at 109th on the list of Likud’s candidates.

Prior to the 2015 Knesset elections he was placed eighth on the Yisrael Beiteinu list. Although he failed to enter the Knesset when the party won six seats, he was moved up to seventh on the list after Ilan Shohat chose not to take his seat, allowing Robert Ilatov to serve in his stead. In September 2015, Sharon Gal chose to leave the Knesset to focus on journalism, allowing Forer to take his seat on 4 September.
