Nune Yesayan is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on August 5, 1969 in Yerevan, Armenia. Nune Yesayan (Armenian: Nowne Esayan , born on August 5, 1969, in Yerevan, Armenia), often referred to by the name of Nune or Noune is a well-known Armenian pop singer who started singing in an Armenian jazz group in the 1990s prior to becoming a lounge singer in hotels within the Middle East.
After graduating at the Jazz and Pop College in 1990, Nune auditioned and was accepted to join the Armenian National Jazz Orchestra. Under the direction of renowned conductor and composer Constantine Orbelian, Nune performed with the Orchestra in Armenia and across in the ex- Soviet Union, singing Armenian folk songs and jazz standards.
Nune recorded her first album of traditional Armenian songs in 1991. It was produced by Garbis Titizian and Prime Entertainment. Arthur Hagopian, who was part of Nune’s first amateur band, arranged the album using modern instruments and contemporary arrangements. The music video for her rendition of the folks song “Kele Lao” was an immediate hit in the Armenia Diaspora and a regular staple of the US-based Armenian television station, Horizon (TV).
Upon her return to Armenia in 1997, Nune partnered again with Prime Entertainment in an effort to distribute her CDs internationally. Executive Producer Garbis Titizian arranged for the release of Nune’s first CD and the recording and distribution of her second album, World.
Similar results were seen in 1991 and 1990, in which Nune was a part of two nationally telecast talent shows. Nune was awarded “Miss Soul” in 1990 and “Best Female Vocalist” at the Asoop (Comet) Award Show in 1991. Awards and distinctions from national as well as international award shows, including those at the “Armenian Music Awards” in Los Angeles have continued and included awards for the best album, most popular music video best concert, and the top female vocalist.

Before even pursuing music in the college level, Yesayan made a name for herself in her high school as an exceptional vocalist and performer. The year she graduated high school was 1986 and was admitted to The Polytechnic University of Yerevan to pursue a degree in engineering.
After successfully completing her initial year of studies in the Polytechnic University in 1987, Nune chose to switch majors and pursue her love for music. She sought admission for Yerevan’s Jazz and Pop College of Yerevan which is where she started her studies in fall of 1988.
In 1991 and 1992, Nune was invited by her former teacher, Arthur Grigorian, to perform in shows he produced. Her appearances on television with Grigorian’s group were a hit, and the group’s concerts were always sold out.
