In 2011/2012 Coehn played for Moadon Kadursal HaBikaa from the Super League but had a mediocre season with the club that lost 3-0 to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the playoffs, he left the team when the club relocated South and became Hapoel Eilat B.C. in the summer of 2012.

After completing his studies in America, after completing his studies in the States, Cohen returned to Israel and began looking for a professional team from the Israeli Basketball Super League to play for. He was signed to Ironi Ramat Gan of the then rookie manager, Rubi Balinko shortly before the league had had begun. The 2007/2008 season was a time when Cohen was regarded as a renowned athlete in the league and was considered to be one of the most talented players the club of Ramat Gan had to offer. The player scored 20 point in a row without missing and was among the most prominent players in the home win of his team over Euroleague powerful, Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C. This resulted in the dismissal of Oded Katash and the naming of the former General Manager Zvika Sherf. Cohen was named as one of the Israeli Basketball Premier League Rising Star in 2008. Because of this season Cohen was selected to join his first ever Israeli National Basketball Team.

Cohen began his career as a player at Hapoel Migdal HaEmek before he changed to Hapoel Gvat and then to the Junior Team consisting of Maccabi Kiryat Bialik, Maccabi Ra’anana, Elitzur Kiryat Ata and Hapoel Gilboa/Afula of the 3rd division. Cohen then moved towards in the United States playing College Basketball there in 2003.

Cohen began his career at Monroe Community College where he began his studies in Business Administration and played there until 2005. During the two years he was a member of the team that was crowned the NJCAA Division I Region 15 Championship twice, and he was awarded the NJCAA Players of the Year for the season 2004/2005. Afterward, he rejected offers from universities like Marist College, University of Buffalo and Robert Morris University, and was transferred towards University of San Diego. NCAA Division I University of San Diego where was a player until the time of his graduation in 2007. over the course of two years, there were some tough games against Adam Morrison’s Gonzaga University.

In the summer of 2009 Cohen signed with Hapoel Afula from the Liga Leumit and played there trying to help lead the team back to the first division.
