Nicolas Bay is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on December 21, 1977 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, France. Nicolas Bay (born 21 December 1977) is an French politician and a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from France. He has been the Director General of the National Rally since November 2014 and as a Regional Councillor in Normandy since December of 2015. He was a municipal Councillor for Elbeuf from 2014 until 2015. He is a participant in Elbeuf’s National Rally, part of the Europe of Nations and Freedom.

Following Megret’s departure from the direction of the MNR at the end of May, Bay together with other MNR members were elected the party’s leader. But, because of his increased contact to his fellow members of the FN as well as Marine Le Pen in particular the party’s council decided to expel Megret from the party in September of 2008. While he’s not a part of the FN but is instead the is the head of a political group (‘National Convergences’), he was included on the list of the FN (led by Marine Le Pen) in the North-West constituency during the 2009 European elections.

He is a self-declared Roman Catholic, and he participated in the protests against same-sex marriage law in 2013.

In 1998, together alongside Guillaume Peltier, he founded the Youth Christian Action Association (AJAC) A movement that was opposed to PACS and suicide. The group had about 250 people and was closely linked with the National Republican Movement (MNR) that was headed by Bruno Megret.

Bay was born in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines. Bay became a member of the National Front at 15, in 1992. He was soon the head of the Front’s youth wings (FNJ) within the Yvelines and Ile-de-France region.

In 1998, following the FN split In 1998, he became a part of Bruno Megret’s National Republican Movement, first as the deputy director for the National Movement of Youth (youth branch of the MNR) and later the person in charge of elections within the MNR party. He was one of two MNR municipal councillors elected to Sartrouville (Yvelines) during 2002 French municipal elections. His list of candidates won 11.3 percent of the votes. He was a candidate in Yvelines 5th constituency during election 2002. In the 2004 regional elections, MNR’s most popular candidate in Ile-de-France with a victory of 1.18 percent of the votes. The MNR’s top contender in the Ile de-France European constituency in 2004, during the European elections, he received just 0.28 percent of the votes. He was elected to the Sartrouville municipal council during the local elections of 2008 however, his candidate’s list received just 5.2 percent of the votes. In the end, his MNR is the only municipal councillor for French municipalities that have more than 3,000 people.

Despite protests from within the party, he was selected to be National Front’s candidate in Haute-Normandie for the 2010 regional elections.
