She is a Scottish pop singer, whose version “Iko Iko”, reached number 10 in the British singles charts in 1982.

After Platform Records granted it the soundtrack to Un Boss In Salotto, the highest-grossing Italian film in 2014, Natasha’s rendition of “Iko Iko”, the song enjoyed a revival.

She left the music industry in the middle of the 1980s after her marriage to Bob England. She then worked with horses and animal rights issues. After moving to Canada, she sang in Why and returned to England in early 1990s. She was later diagnosed with breast cancer and returned to music in the end. Her 1982 single, “Iko Iko”, was released digitally by Platform Records in 2007. It was also included in a 42-track collection, Back From The Mists of Time, which featured her entire 1980s output. In 2010, Deeper Into Reality, a collaborative album with Robert Logan, was released. Other releases include a cover of “Get It On” by T. Rex in 2013 and “Work It Out” in 2015.

Natasha and sisters Betty Burns formed Flirts together as a girl group. They recorded for Magnet in late 1970s, but they had little commercial success despite a BBC Radio One airplay hit. Later, she recorded for Decca as Natasha or the Delites. She was credited as Natasha and released 11 solo singles on Towerbell including “Iko Iko” (1982). The song was produced by Tom Newman and reached number 10 on the UK singles charts. It charted in Ireland at number 7, Israel at number 6, and New Zealand at number 5. The song also reached number 26 on the UK singles chart. Later in the year, her follow-up album “The Boom Boom Room”, reached number 44 on UK singles charts. Her album Captured reached 53 on UK albums charts. Her later singles on Towerbell and her second, mostly self-penned, album Don’t walk away had less success.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1955, she moved to London in 1970 to pursue a career as a musician. She was a dancer, and she also formed her own band. In addition to playing in clubs, she managed stars like Rod Stewart, Marc Bolan and David Bowie. In 1975, she married Bob England and formed their own production and management company. They established the Towerbell record labels and discovered and managed Darts, who enjoyed a string of hits after they were signed to Magnet Records. The pair later set up Rockney for Dave and Chas.

A new single and 13-track album were released on 10 August 2018, entitled ‘Somehow’.
