She had run 22.82 seconds in Kiev, June 2008, breaking her 200-best time. She won the silver medal at 2009 European Indoor Championships. She beat her outdoor track record of 51.44 seconds with 51.44 seconds. In Sofia, she improved further to 51.38 seconds. After a Reims competition, she was tested positive for the anabolic steroids stanozolol in July 2009. From August 2009 to August 2011, she was removed from the sport. She returned to the sport at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was part the Ukrainian team that won silver at the 2014 European Athletics Championship.
