She also worked for independent promotions in Southern California, including National Wrestling Alliance and Pro Wrestling Bushido. Skyler Moon was her ring name.

Osman fought AJ in a dark match during a tryout at WWE’s Raw or SmackDown television tapings in early 2012. On June 20, 2012, Osman made her debut with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). She competed in a bikini competition, won by Summer Rae. Osman signed a contract with WWE on June 21, 2012. Osman and Sofia Cortez teamed up on the June 21 episode. This was in a losing effort against Audrey Marie Turner and Caylee. Osman and Paige teamed up on the June 22 episode FCW Television in a losing effort against Turner and Cortez. Osman competed in a bikini contest on the July 14th episode of FCW. Osman and Summer Rae teamed up to defeat Sofia Cortez & Paige in the July 19 episode. Osman failed to compete in a battle royal against Tenille Tayla and Raquel Diaz. Osman also lost to Marie, Turner, Cortez, Turner, Cortez, and Cortez. This would be Osman’s last match in FCW.

Osman began training with Josh Selby. She later began training at the Santino Bros. Wrestling – Pro Wrestling School, with The Ballard Brothers and Van Ayasit. She debuted in February 2009.

Osman was a Mach One Wrestling (M1W), debutant. She teamed up with Christina Von Eerie to defeat Candice LeRae, Kitana Vera and the tag-team match. Osman’s singles debut was on the June 5 edition M1W Television. Osman faced Kitana Vera in a winning effort. Osman lost against LeRae at the M1W Centre City Slam event, July 24.

Osman was a debutant for Alternative Wrestling Show, (AWS) on February 28,

2010. Osman made her debut for NXT at the August 16 NXT taping, under the ring name Skyler Moon, where she teamed up with Raquel Diaz to defeat Paige and Emma in a divas tag-team match. On August 17 at an NXT House show, Moon teamed up with Paige in a winning effort defeating against Emma and Audrey Marie in a tag- team match. On January 11, 2013, it was reported that she was released from her developmental contract.
