Nasser Gemayel is one of the most popular and richest Catholic Priest who was born on January 6, 1951 in Antelias, Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon. Gemayel was born 1951 in Ain-Kharroube, Antelias Archeparchy for the Maronites. While he was studying philosophy and theology at Kaslik’s University Institutional Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, he attended the seminar at Ghazir. From the same University, he received a masters in philosophy and a doctorate in theology. He received a masters degree in philosophy from the Catholic University of Lyon in 1977, and in 1984 a doctorate at Paris-Sorbonne University in Paris in literature and humanities.
On 21 July 2012, he was appointed eparch at the Maronite Catholic Episcopaly of Notre-Dame du Liban de Paris. Maronite patriarch of Antioch Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, OMM donated the episcopal ordination to him on 30 august 2012. Camille Zaidan (Archbishop of Maronite Catholic Archeparchy in Antelias) and Samir Mazloum (retired Curial bishop of Antioch), were his co-consecrators. He was also appointed first bishop and Apostolic Visitor in Western and Northern Europe to serve the Maronite faithful. He was previously pastor of Saint Tekla in Masqua, Lebanon.
Gemayel served as a member of the Board of Councillors from 2003-2004, the Council of Priests of dell’Arcieparchia Antelias from 2003-2004, the Central Commission of the Maronite Patriarchal Synod, and as a chaplain in several Catholic schools and Marian confraternities. His books include the Maronite Catholic Church. Gemayel can also speak Arabic and French. Gemayel is an expert on the Syriac language.

Nasser Gemayel, born 6 January 1951 in Ain-Kharroube (Lebanon), is the current eparch for the Maronite Catholic Eparchy Notre-Dame du Liban de Paris.
On 30 August 1981, he was ordained as a priest by the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy in Antelias. He was a priest in the parishes of “Notre Dame du Bon Secours”, Zalka (1984-1985), and “Tues Shaaya”, Brummana (1986-1992).
