As part of the Nigerian government’s efforts to address the problem of unemployment, he formed a partnership with Huawei Technologies in 2016 to train 1000 young people in Information Communication Technology throughout Nigeria.

He was elected the Youth Presidential Campaign Committee Coordinator of the All Nigeria Peoples Party ANPP Presidential Campaign, responsible for North West Nigeria. In addition to being the National coordinator -Youth Organization for Buhari and Okadigbo. In the 2003 presidential election, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari was elected the party’s presidential candidate. His running mate was Late Chuba Okadigbo. The People’s Democratic Party (Nigeria), PDP won the election. In 2007, the party lost the presidential election to the People’s Democratic Party (Nigeria) PDP.
After the departure of Muhammadu Buhari, Nasir joined Congress for Progressive Change CPC in March 2010. He was elected Youth Leader/Chairman for the party’s Presidential Campaign Committee Youth Directorate in 2011 and the Kano State Youth Lead of the party. In 2013, the CPC merged with other parties to form the All Progressives Congress.
