Bush for the seat. However, he did not receive a hearing. On January 20, 2010, the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary heard Freudenthal’s nomination. The United States Senate voted 96-1 to confirm Freudenthal’s nomination on May 20, 2010. On May 6, 2010, she was awarded her judicial commission. From July 24, 2011, to May 31, 2018, she was Chief Judge.
