Emmanuel Mkono, born 12 December 1989 in Dar es Salaam, is a Tanzanian Afrobeats / Dancehall recording artist and record producer. He is currently the CEO and founder of The Industry Studios. Nahreel was a founding member and co-founder of the music group Navy Kenzo. He produced albums and managed the careers of many singers and rappers including Vanessa Mdee and Joh Makini. He is also a co- founder and member of the music group Navy Kenzo.

Nahreel founded his company, The Industry, in August 2014. The Industry includes The Industry studios (label management, public relations, and management) as well as the Industry School Of Music, where Nahreel can consolidate all of his years’ work. Since then, the Industry has worked on many important projects with various artists and companies. Two artists are managed by the Industry label: Wildad and Rosa Ree.

Nahreel discovered his passion for music when he was 14 years old, when his father gave him a piano and a teacher who taught him how to play. As an assistant music producer at Kama Kawa Records in Dar es Salaam, Nahreel began his music career. After two years, he left to study at Punjab College in India. Izzo Bizness became one of Tanzania’s most-sold performing artists in 2009 thanks to his Riz One instrumental for Izzo. Nahreel was also able to be nominated for major awards and meet Rithiwan Kikwete, the son of President of the Republic of Tanzania. Although he was in India at the time, there was a high demand back in Tanzania for his instrumentals as many hip-hop artists wanted to work with him.

He returned to Tanzania in 2011 after completing his education in India. Before forming Pah One with a few of his friends, he produced a few singles.

After the break up of Pah One, Nahreel together with Aika (his long time girlfriend) formed a group called Navy Kenzo which became popular with their third single Chelewa and managed to be a hit in Tanzania. They also managed to make other hits like Kamatia Chini, Game (ft Vanessa Mdee), feel good (ft Wildad), Lini (ft Alikiba), Morning (is the first track in their 2016 first ever album ‘AIM-Above In a Minute’) and Bajaj (ft Patoranking) katika (ft Diamond platinumz). The group managed to produce their first ever album ‘ABOVE IN A MINUTE (AIM) featuring big names in Africa such as Patoranking, Alikiba and Vanessa Mdee.
